Community food pantry & meal program · Mesa, Arizona
No one in the East Valley should wonder where dinner is coming from.
Open Table runs a free grocery pantry, hot community meals and home delivery for neighbors who can’t make it in. It’s powered by people who give a few dollars or a few hours.

Every dollar becomes about three meals.
We buy wholesale and rescue surplus food from Valley grocers and farms, so a small gift goes a long way. Monthly gifts let us plan ahead for summer, when kids lose school meals.

- $25a week of school-night dinners for one child
- $60a family’s groceries plus a produce box
- $150a month of home deliveries for a senior

FAQ
Good questions.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
In a live site, yes: Open Table would be a registered 501(c)(3) and you’d get an emailed receipt right away. Arizona donors may also qualify for the state Charitable Tax Credit. This demo shows a sample receipt only.
Can I change or cancel a monthly gift?
Any time, from the link in your receipt email. No calls, no forms.
Do I need to prove income to get food?
No paperwork for your first visit. After that, we ask for a name and ZIP code so we can plan how much food to order.
Can my company or group volunteer together?
Yes. Groups of 6 to 20 can book a private packing night on weekday evenings. Email us and we’ll find a date.
Do you take food donations?
Yes, at the side door Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to noon. Shelf-stable items and fresh produce are best. We can’t accept home-cooked food.
