FAQ

Good questions.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

In a live site, yes: Open Table would be a registered 501(c)(3) and you’d get an emailed receipt right away. Arizona donors may also qualify for the state Charitable Tax Credit. This demo shows a sample receipt only.

Can I change or cancel a monthly gift?

Any time, from the link in your receipt email. No calls, no forms.

Do I need to prove income to get food?

No paperwork for your first visit. After that, we ask for a name and ZIP code so we can plan how much food to order.

Can my company or group volunteer together?

Yes. Groups of 6 to 20 can book a private packing night on weekday evenings. Email us and we’ll find a date.

Do you take food donations?

Yes, at the side door Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to noon. Shelf-stable items and fresh produce are best. We can’t accept home-cooked food.
